We’ve been Cyclebreaking together since 2020.
What began as a single post on social media has now evolved into a global practice, immersing in Ancestral Tech™ that grounds the body, sharpens clarity, and reconnects women to how they perform best. This work isn’t about stepping away from life. It’s about returning to it better resourced, more regulated, and more intentional.
Guided by a functional medicine doctor with 35 plus years of experience, we worked with lab data and adrenal health to turn stress and fatigue into clarity and direction. Alongside ancestral practitioners, we explored patterns that shape leadership and received Mayan blessings that reminded us the land and lineage are active sources of support. This experience defined Cyclebreakers as it exists today. Precision. Depth. Integration.
A reimagining of what a business conference for women could be.
Not another speaker lineup.
Not another business plan.
Not another Instagram-friendly panel with no integration.
We brought together 80 women for a day rooted in Ancestral Tech™, focused on regulation, clarity, and embodied decision-making women could actually use in real life.
We slowed the pace, lowered cortisol, and returned to foundational practices that support sustainable performance.
This marked a beginning.
Proof that women weren’t looking for more information, but for a different way of operating.
Each upcoming sabbatical builds on this lineage combining modern diagnostics, cultural immersion, and performance-informed design.
Different locations.
The same standard.
For the first time in a long while, I felt truly heard.
I went into the sabbatical skeptical but open. From the beginning, Dr. Francis explained things in a way that was clear, tangible, and easy to understand. For the first time, I felt like someone was actually listening to what I was experiencing physically.
I left feeling hopeful, grounded, and supported. Three months later, I feel better than I ever imagined I could. Beyond the physical shifts, there were deeply meaningful spiritual moments that still stay with me experiences I know I could only have had by being fully immersed.
I left Cyclebreakers Sabbatical with more knowledge about my body, nervous system, trauma patterns, and mindset than I gained from a decade of programs back home. More importantly, I returned with a clear, personalized game plan and rituals that were realistic, not aspirational.
The impact didn’t end when I got home. I’m calmer, more focused, and more self-regulated in my day-to-day life, and everyone around me benefits when I’m healthier and happier. Cyclebreakers is now part of my annual routine. I deserve it, and so does the work I lead.
I was looking for space to heal without feeling isolated or over-directed. I found something much deeper.
After a difficult year marked by the loss of my father, I wanted a wellness experience that felt grounded, culturally rich, and genuinely supportive. From the moment I arrived, everything felt intentional the environment, the care, the way the schedule met us where we were.
Time with Dr. Francis, local healers, and the rituals woven throughout the weekend helped me release more than I expected. I left feeling lighter, inspired, and more connected to myself than I realized I needed.
I went into the Mexico City sabbatical knowing I was dancing around burnout. I had tried every Western approach facials, massages, infrared saunas, medication, and even weight training to get my inflammation, brain fog, and mindset under control. What surprised me most was how quickly my nervous system responded. From the moment I arrived, my body knew something was different. This wasn’t another wellness add on. Every detail was tailored to what I needed on an inside out level. Learning about my adrenals and hormones and how to properly support them has been life changing. I feel like myself again!
I arrived in Mexico City feeling off, dismissing it as simple burnout. It wasn’t until I received my reports and fully submerged myself in the retreat that the deeper layers started to unfold. The experience gave me the space to uncover what was truly going on beneath the surface. I left with a much clearer internal roadmap and a real understanding of what I need to do to feel my best. I headed home feeling more focused, more confident, and ready to show up as the best version of myself. The sabbatical definitely was the highlight of my year and I look forward to the next one.
